<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor that can stabilize the operation of a drive unit by efficiently cooling the drive unit. <P>SOLUTION: A drive unit 15 for controlling energization to coils 10 is assembled on a bracket 12. A stator 11 is installed on a front side of the bracket 12, and a bottomed cylindrical rotor 14 is rotatably mounted on an outer circumferential side of the stator 11. The rotor 14 has ventilating projections 53 and vents 52 in a bottom wall part 31, and when the rotor 14 is rotated, the ventilating projections 53 and the vents 52 cooperate to discharge air inside the rotor 14. Air is then drawn into the rotor 14 via a clearance passage 51 between the bracket 12 and the rotor 14. The air drawn in cools radiation fins 50 on a front surface of the bracket 12 and then passes by the coils 10 of the stator 11 to be discharged from the vents 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
