CROSS-AUTHENTICATION ARRANGEMENT

Various arrangements for providing SIP-to-HTTP and HTTP-to-SIP cross-authentication are described. In use, a SIP client and an HTTP client of a user device both seek to access one or more service providers and both need to be authenticated. The invention enables the authentication of one of the SIP client and the HTTP client to be used by the other. Accordingly, a single-sign-on arrangement can be provided.
