A floating offshore wind turbine (101, 102, 103, 104) and a floating offshore wind farm (500) with at least one floating offshore wind turbine (101, 103, 103, 104) are provided. The floating offshore wind turbine (101, 103, 103, 104) includes a floating platform (70) anchored to an underwater ground (96), a wind turbine (10) mounted on the floating platform (70), and a drive (50, 51, 52). The drive (50, 51, 52) is adapted to horizontally move the floating platform (70). Further a method (1000, 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, 1005) for positioning a floating offshore wind turbine (100) is provided. |
