The key has a pivot mount (3) rotatably mounted at a housing (1). A key-bit (2) is fastened at the mount. The key-bit lies at the housing in a stable end position and is folded out in another stable end position, which extends parallel to a longitudinal axis of the housing away from the axis. Ramp-like ribs are designed in a lower shell (1b) of the housing and the pivot mount so that the ribs are active only in the folded out end position. An edge of the mount is provided with a chamfer in a region of a rotary bearing. The chamfer corresponds with a bevel in an upper shell (1a) of the housing.
