<p>The method involves pumping feed solution from a receiving space (G1) into a process tank (PT1) by a pump (P2) in a bleed and feed cycle. Volume of the feed solution promoted to the tank is measured. Bleed solution is pumped from the tank into another receiving space (G2) by another pump (P3). Volume of the bleed solution promoted from the tank to the latter space is measured. A correction factor is computed by comparing the measured and computed volumes of the bleed and feed solutions. A target delivery rate of the pumps is corrected with the correction factor in a next bleed and feed cycle. An independent claim is also included for a device for conducting bleed and feed of a process solution in a process tank, comprising a system for analysis of bleed solution.</p> |
