The method involves clamping of work pieces (1) at its front surface between work piece spindles (2,2'). The work pieces are arranged completely on a side of an imaginary plane by spindle axes (4,4') and are moved through a plane by a clamping device for processing the front surfaces. Two grinding disks (8,8') and two work piece spindles are provided for tensioning of the work pieces at the front surface. An independent claim is also included for a grinding machine for executing work piece grinding method.
