<p>A base (27) has a partially cylindrical shaped outer surface (29) extending between axial end surfaces (30,31). Several retaining projection portions (33) are engaged in a retaining groove (18) of an inner ring (2) of the roller bearing. The projection portions are rigidly connected to the outer surface of the base protruded radially along outer direction over a partial region of the circumference of the outer surface. The radial extension of attachment tabs (34) provided at the base is more than that of projection portions.
