Multi-stage piston compressor

The compressor (1) has a drivetrain (4) mechanically connected to pistons (3A-3D) provided in the compressor stages (A-D) and longitudinally displaceable in compressor cylinders (2A-2D). The liquid columns (9A-9D) accommodating the incompressible fluid is in communication with the pistons moved in the compressor cylinder. The compressor pistons (10A-10D) are arranged in the compressor cylinders, for changing the liquid column for change of the compressor stroke (VH) of the compressor pistons. The liquid columns are made to communicate with an outlet (15).
