PURPOSE: A power factor improvement circuit equipped with an inrush current protection block and an electricity reception system including the same are provided to control an inrush current generated in the initial moment supplying electricity to an electric apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A basis voltage signal generator(210) creates a basis voltage signal(VAC) having constant frequency and size. A line filter(220) eliminates noises included in the basis voltage signal. A rectifier(230) rectifies the filtered basis voltage signal. A power factor improvement circuit(240) performs an inrush current protection function. The inrush current protection function is executed by an inrush current protection block(214) installed between a reference voltage(Vb) and one terminal of a capacitor(C) accomplishing an output terminal.
