Apparatus and method for synthesizing inhomogeneous texture using multiple input exemplars

PURPOSE: An inhomogeneous texture combining device using a plurality of input samples and a method thereof are provided to obtain information about a combining speed without respect to the number of input samples. CONSTITUTION: A preprocessing unit(210) generates a conversion texture by using a graph cut which is a reference for combining input samples and two binary texton masks from the input samples. A multi-sample texture combining unit(220) outputs a final result combining image by repetitively aligning combined images to increase density based on an increase of a level in a Gaussian stack using an image pyramid and the input samples.
