PURPOSE: A rubber compostion for tire cord topping is provided to remove moisture or air on bonding interface between a tire cord and a rubber composition, thereby capable of improving adhesion between the tire cord and the rubber composition for topping, and increasing aging resistance. CONSTITUTION: A rubber compostion for tire cord topping comprises 100.0 parts by weight of crude rubber, and 3-10 parts by weight of oxide calcium surface-treated by paraffin oil. In the calcium oxide surface-treated by paraffin oil, the weight ratio of calcium oxide and paraffin oil is 70:30 - 95:5. The rubber composition comprises 20-90 parts by weight of carbon black, 0.5-2.5 parts by weight of cobalt salt, and 2-4 parts by weight of resorcinol resin. A tire is manufactured by using the rubber composition. |
