PURPOSE: A method for sythesizing acronycine, noracronycine, or derivative thereof is provided to ensure simple and efficient synthesis. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a compound of chemical formula 2 comprises a step of reacting 1,3-dihydroxyacridone of chemical formula 1 with NR compounds under the presence of ethylene diamine diacetate(EDDA) catalyst. The compound of chemical formula 2 is acronycine, noracronycine, or derivative thereof. A method for preparing the compound of chemical formula 2 comprises: a step of reparing 1,3-dihydroxyacridone; a step of refluxing the 1,3-dihydroxyacridone with NR compound under the presence of the catalyst; a step of adding methyl iodide; and a step of removing the solvent under pressure reduction and purifying.
