<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device and an image forming device capable of preventing jam while maintaining satisfactory image quality and prolonging the lifetime of a constituent member. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing deice comprises a fixing belt 21, a pressure roller 31, a contact member 26 which is disposed at the inner peripheral side of the fixing belt 21 and is contacted with the pressure roller 31 through the fixing belt 21 to form a nip part, a heater and a heating member 22 for heating the fixing belt 21, and a projection member 51 which is disposed on the outlet side of the nip part from the contact member 26 at the inner peripheral side of the fixing belt 21 and is capable of supporting the fixing belt 21 by pressing the fixing belt 21 from its inner surface and protruding the fixing belt 21 at the outlet of the nip part to the outer peripheral side. The device is equipped with a separation function adjustment mechanism for changing a projection amount x1 from the contact member 26 surface in the outlet of the nip part of the fixing belt 21 to the pressure roller 31 side by moving the projection member 51 to the inner or outer peripheral side of the fixing belt 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
