<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for advertisements displayed on a mobile phone. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of: downloading an advertisement to a mobile phone 10 using an advertisement server 14; selecting the downloaded advertisement on the mobile phone 10 by a user of the mobile phone 10; providing by a server 14 additional information in response to the user selection; and tracking the selection and additional information by the server 14. Provided compensation is in response to a display screen 34 of the advertisement.
