<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and lightweight motor. <P>SOLUTION: A motor includes: a field magnet 10 having a plurality of circumferentially evenly spaced magnetic poles 11 with alternating polarities; a rotational armature 20 that is arranged coaxially with the field magnet 10 on a radially outer side of the field magnet 10 and that has a plurality of rotational windings 22 for generating a circumferential propelling force; and a linear armature 30 that is arranged coaxially with the field magnet 10 on a radially inner side of the field magnet 10 and that has a plurality of linear windings 32 for generating an axial propelling force.
