<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire and a vulcanization mold therefor capable of making characters or figures for an emblem, size indication and a decoration arranged on an outer surface of a sidewall conspicuous. <P>SOLUTION: According to this pneumatic tire, the respective characters 10 or the respective figures 20 are extended in the tire circumferential direction, and are formed of an aggregation of a plurality of projection parts T projecting from the outer surface 1a of the sidewall 1, both end parts of the respective projection parts T respectively form the contours of the respective characters 10 or the respective figures 20, the adjacent projection parts T are arranged so as to be mutually juxtaposed substantially parallel, the respective projection parts T have a constant area T1 being constant in a width, the respective projection parts T are formed by arranging a large width area T2 of a larger width than the constant area T1 in both end parts in the extending direction, and the large width area T2 of the respective projection parts T is arranged so as to be juxtaposed along the contours of the respective characters 10 and the respective figures 20, so that the contours of the respective characters 10 or the respective figures 20 are emphasized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
