摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized rotor for rotary electric machines which facilitates winding a coil around each slot, and to provide a method of forming the rotor. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor 3 of an electric motor 1 is formed by attaching three split cores 33 at a uniform interval on a circumference of circle, at an outer periphery of a base member 32 integrally rotatable with a rotary shaft 31. The split core 33 is formed by winding an armature coil 332 around a split iron core 331 formed by laminating a plurality of split steel plates 331a in a rotation axis C direction. Respective triangular coupling parts 331d are notched on both end surfaces in a circumferential direction of the split iron core 331. Wedge-shaped junction projections 325 are formed on both end surfaces of a holding part 323 of the base member 32 located between adjacent split cores 33 and extending in a radial direction. After the armature coil 332 is wound around the split iron core 331, the junction projection 325 is press-fitted into the coupling part 331d to couple the split core 33 with the base member 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
