METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYIMIDE FILM, AND POLYIMIDE FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyimide film which can be obtained from polyamic acid by using a specific monomer and a specific solvent, and to provide a polyimide film excellent in transparency and colorability by specifying each addition amount of an imidation catalyst and a dehydration agent in a method for performing imidation chemically.

SOLUTION: Imidation is performed in such a way that the addition amount of the imidation catalyst comprising tertiary amine and the dehydration agent comprising acid anhydride becomes 3.5-10 times in total in molar equivalent with respect to carboxylic acid of polyamic acid.
