The disclosed transmission power control circuit is provided with: a frequency conversion unit that converts an input signal to a high frequency signal; a first power control unit for controlling power in the low frequency band of the input signal before frequency conversion by the frequency conversion unit; a second power control unit for controlling power in the high frequency band of the input signal after frequency conversion by the frequency conversion unit; and a control unit which, if the set value of the output power is lower than the minimum value of the output power at which power control is possible in the second power control unit, controls power only with the first power control unit, and if the set value of output power is higher than the aforementioned output power minimum value, controls the power with the first power control unit and the second power control unit. |
