PURPOSE: A transmission for an electric car is provided to miniaturize a product by mounting a planetary gear set consisting of combination of a plurality of gears and to be applied to a motor which outputs high rpm. CONSTITUTION: An input shaft(100) revolves by power of a motor which is electrically driven. A planetary gear set(300) is composed of combination of a plurality of gears. One among the plurality of gears of the planetary gear set is connected to the input shaft. The planetary gear set changes rotation speed and rotation direction of the input shaft. An output shaft(200) is connected to the planetary gear set and revolves by a planetary gear. The input shaft and the output shaft are arranged at the same level. The planetary gear set comprises a sun gear, a plurality of planetary gears, a ring gear, and a carrier.
