<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a thermal runaway of a secondary battery including the one due to a manufacturing failure, and to prevent deterioration in reliability and operability of system as well. <P>SOLUTION: An uninterruptible power supply device comprises: a secondary battery for becoming a power supply to connected apparatuses in the case of a blackout of the input power supply; calculating means for detecting a charging current value supplied from the input power supply to the secondary battery, and for calculating a change amount of the charging current value as well; and charging stop means for comparing the calculated change amount with a determination value.
