<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress influences on sheet feeding accuracy and an image by optimizing the shape/constitution of the R-shaped portion of a reverse path including a bypass, regarding an image forming apparatus including a conveying belt for conveying the sheet, and configured to form images on both sides of the sheet. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding the inkjet printer 100 including the conveying belt 10 for conveying the sheet 9 and configured to form the images on both sides of the sheet 9, the bypass 6 as the reverse path includes at least two portions (R portion) where the moving track of the sheet 9 guided along the bypass 6 forms the curved R-shape. The shape R2 of the portion R2 located on the downmost stream side in the sheet conveying direction Xa of the bypass 6 is formed larger than the shape R1 of the portion R1 located on the upstream side in the sheet conveying direction Xa (R1<R2), and the guide surface of the portion R1 located on the uppermost stream side in the sheet conveying direction Xa is configured to inwardly bend the image-formed surface side of the one-side printed sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
