<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily clean an end face of an optical fiber connector. <P>SOLUTION: An end face observation device includes: a connector receiver 24 which receives an optical fiber connector 10 holding one end side of an optical fiber 1 from its end face side; a light source 25 which emits visible light; an imaging element 26 which receives the light and converts its image information into an electric signal; a display part 22; image display means 31 which receives an output of the imaging element 26 and displays an image at the display part 22; an optical receiver 27 which receives the light and outputs the electric signal corresponding to its intensity; intensity display means 32 which receives an output signal of the optical receiver 27, detects the intensity of the light made incident on the optical receiver 27, and displays the intensity at the display part 22; and an optical system 40 which forms an optical path for irradiating the end face of the optical fiber connector 10 with the visible light emitted from the light source 25, an optical path for making reflected light of the visible light incident on the imaging element 26, and an optical path for making the light emitted from the optical fiber 1 on the end face of the optical fiber connector 10 incident on the optical receiver 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
