<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: in an imaging apparatus, optimum color bleeding suppression cannot be performed to a subject of which contrast is low because the subject moves during storage time of an imaging device, by color bleeding suppression means of determining color bleeding from an edge or the contrast of an image. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: contrast detecting means for detecting a contrast value from a video signal; motion information detecting means for detecting motion information of the video signal; suppression coefficient calculation means for calculating suppression coefficient that indicates a color bleeding suppression amount of the video signal; and suppression processing means for suppressing color bleeding of the video signal depending on the suppression coefficient output from the suppression coefficient calculation means, and the suppression coefficient calculation means calculates the suppression coefficient depending on the contrast value formed under a condition that the suppression coefficient is a function of a suppression target signal and output from the motion information of the video signal and the contrast detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
