Disclosed are an IP multimedia subsystem charging method and device. The method comprises: S-CSCF receives a first message from HSS, wherein the first message is used to notify S-CSCF to change the charging function address of the user from CCF1 to CCF2; S-CSCF then sends a second message to P-CSCF, wherein the second message is used to notify P-CSCF to change the charging function address of the user from CCF1 to CCF2. This invention is able to ensure that P-CSCF correctly edits the user's subscriber data, thus ensuring correct charging.
