<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire capable of being used even under a poor environment while reduced in weight. <P>SOLUTION: In an electric wire 1, a conductor 10 is formed by twisting a strand 11 comprising a high-strength fiber 11a on which metal plating 11b is subjected.
