<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake pedal which is bendable and promptly returned to its original state to allow a driver to smoothly depress the brake pedal without haste even when his/her shoe etc. is caught in the brake pedal. <P>SOLUTION: One third part on the right side of the brake pedal (1) is cut. A bendable metal fitting (2) is arranged on the aligned top surface side, and a return spring (3) is arranged on the back surface side of the two third part and the one third part.
