<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary shaft support structure for an electric supercharger having good assemblability, capable of reducing shaft vibration, and facilitating the invention to be reduced in practice by modifying existent equipment because there is no need for specializing a bearing form, in a shaft support structure of the electric supercharger in which an electric motor is arranged in a manner overhanging on an outer side of a bearing. <P>SOLUTION: In the rotary shaft support structure for an electric supercharger, comprising: a rotating shaft to which a compressor wheel which is a wheel on the supercharging side is attached; an electric motor which is provided with a motor rotor affixed to the rotating shaft and is also provided with a stator for applying a rotational force to the motor rotor; and a bearing section provided on the side of the motor rotor which faces the compressor wheel and supporting the rotating shaft, a damper device for absorbing shaft vibration of the rotating shaft is provided on a shaft end which is located on the opposite side of the motor rotor from the compressor wheel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
