<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive tape capable of preventing adhesion to side plates of a reel and a roll of the adhesive tape, and provide a method for producing them. <P>SOLUTION: In the adhesive tape 5, anti-sticking treatment layers 4 are formed along the whole of side edge parts 3a of a main tape body 3. Owing to the formation of such anti-sticking treatment layers 4, anti-sticking treatment surfaces 7 are formed on side faces 6a of the roll 6 with aggregates of the anti-sticking treatment layers 4, when the adhesive tape 5 is rolled around the roll core 11 of a reel 10. By preventing direct contact of the side faces 6a of the roll 6 to inner surfaces 12a of the side plates 12 of the reel 10 with the anti-sticking treatment surfaces 7, the adhesive tape 5 can be prevented from sticking to the inner surfaces 12a to avoid generation of inconvenience that the adhesive tape 5 can not be normally used. In the adhesive tape 5, the anti-sticking treatment is performed by applying a lubrication oil 21a without carrying out the anti-sticking treatment by changing an adhesive composition.
