<p>1-(3-Sulphamoylbenzamido) piperidines of formula (I) and their salts are new. (where R is OH, 1-10C alkanoyloxy, or benzoyloxy opt. having 1 or 2 substits., from F, Cl, Br 1-4C alkyl or alkoxy, or it may have 3 alkoxy (1-4C) substits; either R1-4 are H or 1-4C alkyl; or R1 and R2 are 2-3C alkylene straight chain and R3 and R4 are H; R5 is F, Cl, Br or CF3). A typical cpd. 1-(4-chloro-3-sulphamoylbenzamido)-c-2, c-6-dimethyl-r-4-piperidinol, is prepd. from equimolar proportions of 1-amino-c-2, c-6-dimethyl-r-4-piperidinol, 4-chloro-3-sulphamoyl benzoyl chloride, and triethylamine in chloroform. The prod. melts at 265-267 degrees C.</p> |
