An electrically driven vehicle configured so that a slip occurring in the driven wheels can be minimized in a low speed region in which it is not possible to detect the wheel speed. An electrically driven vehicle comprises non-driven wheels (7, 8) and driven wheels (3, 6), and the driven wheels (3, 6) are driven by electric motors (1, 4). The electrically driven vehicle also comprises an electric motor controller (22) for adjusting the torque outputted by the electric motors (1, 4), and the adjustment is performed so that the speed of the driven wheels (3, 6) is lower than a second preset value when the speed of the non-driven wheels (7, 8) detected by speed detectors (11, 12) or the speed of the vehicle body detected by a vehicle body speed detector (41) is lower than a first preset value.
