SURFACE-TREATED COPPER FOIL

The objective of the present invention is to provide a copper foil having excellent softening resistance with which it is possible to inhibit reductions in tensile strength after heating at temperatures of around 350°C to 400°C. To achieve this objective, a surface-treated copper foil having a rustproof treatment layer on both surfaces of a copper foil is characterized in that: each rustproof treatment layer is a zinc alloy layer made of a zinc alloy and in which the amount of zinc ranges from 20 mg/m2 to 1000 mg/m2 on either surface; the copper foil contains at least one type of trace component selected from carbon, sulfur, chlorine, or nitrogen; and the total content of the trace component(s) is 100 ppm or greater.
