METHOD FOR PREDICTING THE RISK OF HEPATO CELULLAR CARCINOMA OCCURRED IN CHRONIC HEPATITIS B INFECTED PATIENTS

PURPOSE: An analysis and prediction method for hepatocellular carcinoma pathogenic risk of chronic B type liver disease patient is provided to provide necessary information of each patient for optimal treatment and to decide more efficient consultation and therapeutic direction of each patient. CONSTITUTION: An analysis and prediction method for hepatocellular carcinoma pathogenic risk of chronic B type liver disease patient comprises the following steps: a step of confirming mutation difference of prediction markers for candidates of hepatocellular carcinoma on HBV genes between a chronic B type liver disease patient group and a hepatoma patient group which is advanced from chronic B type liver disease; selecting markers for hepatoma prediction which shows mutation having statistically significant difference; giving weights to selected hepatoma prediction markers; analyzing base sequence of HBV genes from samples collected from chronic B type liver disease patient; deciding existence of mutations of the selected markers; deciding risk of hepatoma occurrence in chronic B type liver disease patients based on measured value.
