[Also in Division B8] In the blow moulding of a plastics bottle from an extruded parison the mould halves which close on the parison are provided with recesses into which material is pressed to form a handle. Blowing is effected by a piercing needle. The webs which connect the handle to the top of the bottle and a closure cap on the bottle are removed by trimming.</p> |
