A gripper for handling objects, comprising: a bearing shaft (2) having a longitudinal axis; a support (5) for a pair of jaws (3, 4) connected to the bearing shaft (2), said jaws being movable in mutually departing and approaching mode, in order to enable the opening and closing of the gripper; driving means for moving said jaws; and actuating means for activating said driving means, wherein said actuating means are arranged in a position substantially coaxial to the axis of said bearing shaft (2). An apparatus for handling objects, comprising a plurality of handling units (202) designed so as to be able to pick up objects from a magazine and feed them to a processing machine, wherein each handling unit comprise a gripper according to any of the previous claim. |
