MECHATRONIC FURNITURE LOCK

The mechatronic lock (1) has a linearly moving bolt (2) that is moved from a retracted position into an advanced position for locking the lock. A blocking element (5) is laterally engaged into a profiled section (3) of the bolt to block a linear movement of the bolt in an advanced position of the bolt. The blocking element is actuated by the moving intermediate element by a spring unit (7), particularly a coil spring such that the spring unit is biased by actuating an electric drive (18) when the bolt is in a retracted position. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a furniture with a lock; (2) an arrangement with two furniture compartments; and (3) a method for detecting a use of an operating condition.
