PURPOSE: A portable electronic device which includes a flexible display is provided to include a first fold so that a non-indicating area and a part of the non-indicating area are not arranged on the same plane with an indicating area. CONSTITUTION: A portable electronic device(100) comprises a plurality of components like a processor(102) controlling overall operation of the portable electronic device. A telecommunication function including data and voice communications is operated through a communications subsystem(104). Data received by the portable electronic device is decoded and decompressed through a decoder(106). The communications subsystem receives a message from a mobile network(150). The communications subsystem sends a message to the mobile network. The mobile network comprises a data mobile network, a voice mobile network, and a network which supports voice and data communications.
