To provide a method and equipment for alignment of a screen/board which enable accurate alignment of the screen with the circuit board on the basis of picking up images of marks. The respective marksof the screen and the circuit board are provided at positions conforming to each other in the direction parallel with the plate surfaces of the screen and the board, and an image pickup device is madeto pick up the images of the marks at the same positions. In a state wherein the first circuit board is held by a board holding device located at a reference position, the image pickup device is madeto pick up the images of the screen mark and the board mark, and based on a positional slippage thus found, the position of the circuit board is adjusted to a position to which the center of the markis to conform (S3-S8). The image of the mark is picked up again in this state and the position of the circuit board is adjusted to a position where the positional slippage is removed (S9-S14). As forthe second circuit board and after, the image of the mark is picked up, from the beginning, at the position set by the adjustment based on the preceding pickup of the image of the mark. Thus the positional slippage is made small and the alignment with the screen is performed quickly and accurately. |
