PURPOSE: An intelligent sensing system which employs a process motor for a process control automation system is provided to perform a complex process sequence without restrictions on process environment and product properties. CONSTITUTION: A current sensor(3) measures a current amount of a process motor(1). The current sensor is installed on a power supply line(2) of the motor. A resolver measures a rotation amount of the motor. The resolver is installed on one shaft end of the motor. A signal reshaping circuit(5) eliminates noise among an output signal of the current sensor. The signal reshaping circuit reshapes a signal waveform. An R/D converter(6) converts a rotation angle into a digital value. A buffer amplifier(6-1) applies sinusoidal waves to the resolver. An A/D converter(7) converts an output signal of the signal reshaping circuit into a digital value. A processor(8) calculates a length, a traveling distance, and a travelling direction of a load.
