OIL LEAK PROTECT SYSTEM FOR CANNED MOTOR

PURPOSE: A structure for preventing oil from being leaked from a canned motor is provided to prevent oil from being leaked out to seawater by discharging the oil, which leaks along a driving shaft of a canned motor, with the seawater. CONSTITUTION: An oil supply pipe(31) is connected to a top end portion of a case(11). A pipe(32) for oil recovery is connected to a bottom portion of the case. A hole is formed in the center of a lower surface of a housing(21). A chamber(20) for preventing oil leakage is combined with an upper side of the case. A driving shaft(15) passes through the hole formed in the center of a cover member(22). The cover member is combined with a top portion of the housing. A lower mechanical seal(13) is arranged in the hole of the housing to surround the driving shaft. A top mechanical seal(23) is arranged in the hole of the cover member to surround the driving shaft. A drain pipe(25) is connected to the lower surface of the housing to collect the oil and the seawater inside the chamber for preventing oil leakage.
