PURPOSE: A network architecture and a packet handling method using the same are provided to distribute packets in CPU using GPU, thereby handling the packet at a high speed. CONSTITUTION: A CPU(11) executes a first operation in relation to packet handling. A GPU(13) is connected to the CPU through a input/output hub. The GPU executes a second operation in relation to the packet handling. Two huge packet buffers store the packet data for the whole packet. A huge packet buffer is a buffer for metadata. Another huge packet buffer is a buffer for packet data. |
