<p>The driver has a cylindrical component (1) made from refractory resistant material and consisting of alumina fibers. The cylindrical component is covered with a band (2) consisting of a metal substrate that is equipped with a superconductive layer. A plug layer and the superconductive layer are formed on the substrate, which is made from nickel and nickel alloy. The band is formed in a welded tube shape, and has external diameter in a range between 0.5 and 3 mm. The plug layer comprises oxides of cerium, lanthanum, zirconium, yttrium and barium copper. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an electric power transmission driver.</p> |
