PURPOSE: A broadcasting server on demand and a control method thereof are provided to encourage viewer participation in program organization using a text message function. CONSTITUTION: A telephone number matching part(110) matches received telephone numbers to each broadcasting contents. A transmission part(120) transmits predetermined summary information with respect to each broadcasting contents to a viewer terminal with the matched telephone number. An SMS(Short Message Service) message receiver(130) receives a broadcasting request text message from a viewer. A running order controller(140) outputs reserved broadcast time of the corresponding broadcasting contents. An SMS message transmission part(150) transmits a text message to the viewer terminal for informing broadcasting time.
