PURPOSE: A home automation system and a method thereof are provided to control indoor illumination according to an amount of generated power of a solar cell module. CONSTITUTION: The temperature and moisture of outdoor air and a power generation amount of a solar cell are measured(S210). An indoor illumination color is requested(S220). The indoor illumination color is corresponded to the temperature and the moisture of the outdoor air and the power generation amount of the solar cell. Indoor illumination is provided with the requested indoor illumination color(S230).
