<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic signal control apparatus and traffic signal control method in which signal control can be performed while ensuring safety even for movement control employing a dual ring system. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 1 sends a stepping command that is a switching timing signal of a light color to step counters 7 and 8 on the basis of a display pattern via a CPU interface 2. On the basis of the stepping command sent from the CPU 1, the step counters 7 and 8 sequentially designate steps of a signal light independently of each other. When performing a time differential aspect on one of confronted flow-in paths, the CPU 1 sets a first step in which the step counter 7 designates a light color for one flow-in path (e.g., direction N) to blue for going straight and the step counter 8 simultaneously designates a light color for one flow-in path (direction N) to blue for turning right in each of signal cycles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
