METHOD FOR PRODUCING NONWOVEN FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method using a melt electrospinning method to produce a high-quality nonwoven fabric including a fluororesin.

SOLUTION: The method includes: while applying a voltage between a charging electrode 16 for charging a fluororesin linear body 12 and a collector 18 arranged so as to face the charging electrode 16 with the charging electrode 16 as a negative electrode, irradiating a tip of the fluororesin linear body 12, which is negatively charged by the charging electrode 16, with a laser beam 24 from a laser light source 26 to heat and melt the fluororesin; thereby making the melted fluororesin into fine fibers; and collecting the fibers on the collector 18 to produce the nonwoven fabric.
