<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that allows performance improvement in shake correction by effectively utilizing a shake correction range during exposure, and that further allows reduction of manufacturing costs by shortening adjustment time for posture detection. <P>SOLUTION: In an imaging apparatus comprising shake detecting means for detecting a shake applied to the imaging apparatus; shake correction amount calculating means for calculating a correction amount of shake correcting means based on shake information detected by the shake detecting means; a first shake correcting means for correcting a shake of the imaging apparatus based on the correction amount calculated by the shake correction amount calculating means; and a second correcting means for correcting the shake of the imaging apparatus based on the correction amount calculated by the shake correction amount calculating means, the first and the second shake correcting means are configured so that only the first shake correcting means drives when not being exposed and both of the shake correcting means are drivable only during exposure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
