<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a right and left interlocking operation device capable of making it difficult to cause an operating backlash between right and left grips. <P>SOLUTION: Right and left grips are connected through a ball joint 4 and four wire cables. The right and left grips are interlocked by transmitting one of operation to the other through the wire cable. The grips are connected to a grip supporting part through the ball joint 4. A spherical head part 8 of the ball joint 4 is held by a pair of sandwiching plates 41 and 42 and backlash adjustment screwing parts 46 and 47 of the sandwiching plates 41 and 42 are screwed by adjusting an amount of screwing by a plurality of backlash adjusting screws 45.
