<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal device which can prevent foreign matter from entering a stopper defining a full close position of a pedal arm. <P>SOLUTION: On a radially outer side of a fixed column 30 unrotatably provided on an inner wall of a housing 20, an annular member 40 is provided rotatably to the fixed column 30. The pedal arm 10 connected to the annular member 40 receives tread force of an operator at an operation part 11 to rotate. A spring 50 energizes the pedal arm 10 in a direction opposite to a direction of rotating the pedal arm 10 by treading operation of the operator. A recess 60 is formed in a radially outer wall of the fixed column 30. A stopper 61 is provided on an inner wall of the annular member 40 facing the recess 60 in the radial direction. The rotation of the pedal arm 10 in the Y direction is restrained by contact of the stopper 61 with an inner wall of the recess 60. The recess 60 is closed by the annular member 40, thereby preventing foreign matter from entering between the recess 60 and the stopper 61. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
