<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the effect of suppressing camera shakes and to prevent degradation of image quality compatibly in photographing of both moving images and still images. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a correction part arranged in a photographing optical system for correcting the blur of an image formed by the photographing optical system by moving in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis of the photographing optical system; a shake detection part 201 for detecting shakes applied to the imaging apparatus; a position detection part 207 for detecting a position in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis of the correction part; a drive control part 205 for calculating a drive target value of the correction part on the basis of the output of the shake detection part and position information of the correction part detected by the position detection part; and a switching part for switching the control accuracy of the position detection part such that a resolution becomes higher in the state of photographing still images than in the state of photographing moving images in the cases of photographing the moving images and the still images by the imaging apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
